Watercolor Made Easy: Techniques, Tools, and Confidence for Beginners
Instructor: DeElla Hoberg
Join watercolor artist DeElla Hoberg for a six-week hands-on course designed for absolute beginners. Each week features step-by-step demonstrations, easy exercises, and a small finished project you’ll be proud to take home.
You’ll learn everything you need to get started — how to set up your palette, choose materials and paper, and understand water control techniques like wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry, and dry brush. We’ll also explore basic brushwork and the different effects you can achieve with various brush types.
DeElla’s friendly, approachable teaching style focuses on building skills and confidence at your own pace. By the end of the course, you’ll have a solid foundation in watercolor painting, a collection of completed studies, and the inspiration to keep creating.
