Supporting Tomorrow’s Leaders: The Cumming Arts Center and Sawnee Association of the Arts Partner with Eagle Scout Candidate Web Moynihan
The Cumming Arts Center, home of the Sawnee Association of the Arts, is proud to have supported Eagle Scout candidate Web Moynihan in his community service project — the replacement and beautification of the vegetable garden fence at The Place of Forsyth County. This meaningful project not only enhanced the functionality and appearance of the garden space but also embodied the spirit of service and collaboration that both organizations hold dear.
Web, a dedicated local Scout, chose this project as his path to achieving the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest honor in Scouting. Recognizing the importance of The Place in providing food and resources to families in need, Web saw an opportunity to make a lasting impact by replacing the aging garden fence and giving it a fresh, vibrant new look.
The Cumming Arts Center and the Sawnee Association of the Arts were honored to support Web by providing artistic guidance, painting supplies, and volunteer assistance to bring his vision to life. Members of the Association helped plan and execute a colorful, welcoming design.
This partnership underscores the Center’s ongoing mission to support community outreach through the arts and to empower the next generation of leaders and creators. We commend Web for his initiative, leadership, and dedication, and we are grateful for the opportunity to have played a role in such a meaningful community improvement.
Congratulations, Web Moynihan, on a job well done — and thank you for helping to grow a more beautiful and connected Forsyth County.
