Summer Drawing Workshop for Kids

 

 

Instructor – Elizabeth Porcel

During this weeklong drawing workshop, we will move through drawing exercising meant to hit important foundational components of drawing. Don’t worry, we will have fun too!  The first hour of the class is instructional and during the second hour children are encouraged to apply the skills from the tutorials into their own drawing.  We will be working towards a final finished drawing to be completed during the final session on Friday.

Class Schedule:

Monday: Sighting & Proportions      Tuesday: Understanding Shading & Value

Wednesday: Color & Composition    Thursday: Perspective & Portraiture    Friday: Final Project

DATES:  Three – One Week Sessions to Choose From:

June 12th – 16th  or  July 10th – 14th  or  July 24th – 28th

TIME:  1:30PM to 3:30PM

COST:  $150.00 Per Child (Discount for two siblings registering for the same workshop)   $10.00 Supply Fee Per Student for the week (Paid directly to instructor at first day of class – exact cash or check preferred).

NOTE: You can only book one workshop date per registration form. If you would like to book more than one workshop, please fill out a second form. Materials will be provided for a $10 supply fee, for the week, payable directly to the instructor on the first day of class.
Two siblings booking the same workshop receive a $25.00 discount. Please Note: There will be a $10 material fee for the week, per student, payable directly to the instructor on the first day of class.
