This workshop will help you create your own unique one-of-a-kind decorated oyster seashell or other various sea shells. You will learn how to clean shells, prep for various mediums, bake, paint, trim and embellish a gorgeous shell to keep or give as a gift. They make wonderful gifts for a teacher, friend, special neighbor or for someone just to say thank you!
Creative seashell design workshops are a fun mother/daughter, friend, grandmother/granddaughter, or neighbor activity. This workshop is for ages 12 thru adult. All shells will be supplied, cleaned and painted white so you can start applying your design immediately. Various designs, colors and seasons as well as animals and lots of sea life of napkins are available to choose from. Many paint colors and jewels and embellishments are available as well. If you have a special napkin at home that you might like to use bring it with and we can make it work. Also, if you have your own glue gun and glue it would be helpful if you brought it with you as well, however I do have some for use.
Each student will have the option to complete 2 shells or 3 shells during one class.
