Our mission is to provide our residents of Forsyth County, art advocates, artists, artisans, and art partners with a rich experience. We seek to foster their creativity, innovation and imagination. Having been organized since 1970, we understand the local art community and want to provide opportunities for them to share their talents with others. We believe in giving the opportunity from the beginner to the advanced artist the ability to feel welcome to display their work and improve their skills through fellowship and community.

Member Meeting
Our meetings are a time to meet fellow artists and craftspeople, see new trends and techniques, and improve your skills through interesting and enjoyable programs.

If you are a non-member who is thinking of joining the Cumming Arts Center or are interested in this topic, you are welcome to attend.
We always have a Show and Tell, where any member can show off some new or fun art they have completed or are working on.

Members in the Spotlight—
Congratulations! to five Cumming Arts Center members – Janet Blethen, Lynn Daniels, Vicki Gladden, Bert Grant and Dianne Lacefield for being selected to the 2025 “Art of Georgia” Governor’s showcase. In collaboration with the Office of the Governor, the Georgia Council of the Arts facilitates this exhibit of contemporary Georgia visual artists. The 2025 exhibit will soon be on display primarily in the executive offices of the State Capitol and the Ballroom of the Governor’s Mansion, allowing policymakers, visiting dignitaries, and guests of the Governor’s Office to appreciate the beauty of the state. Art tours will be offered for the public as well.
