Instructor Bio: Bill Stevens
Instruction in basic drawing with graphite pencil and charcoal relating to line, form, value, texture and light source will be addressed. Various subject matter from still
life to self-portraits will be rendered. The last hour will involve an introduction to watercolor. We will draw in charcoal on watercolor paper.
NOTE: Bring a lunch!
Level – Beginner
- One 2B pencil
- One kneaded eraser
- One 18″ x 24″ Strathmore watercolor pad spiral bound
- Ten sheets 8.5″ x 11″ white copy paper
- One Prang watercolor set
- One #10 round watercolor brush
- One 1; or 2: wide flat watercolor brush
