 his six-hour workshop is for the intermediate/advanced student who is look
 ing to learn photo-realism techniques in color pencil. Students with inter
 mediate/advanced drawing skills will learn advanced steps using dry and wa
 ter-soluble color pencils and work on a small drawing from a photograph. S
 tudents must be prepared for class with a graphite drawing on Stonehedge p
 aper no larger than an 8×10 (Please see material list for complete inform
 ation).\n\nLevel -  Intermediate/Advanced\nMaterial List\n\n 	Dry Color P
 encils: Professional grade color pencils are a must! Prismacolor brand is 
 preferred\ndue to blending capabilities and availability in local stores\;
  invest in the largest set you can\nafford. Blick Art Supply has incredibl
 e discounts online at DickBlick.com\, and also available\nin stores. If yo
 u have another brand such as Derwent\, FaberCastel\, etc.\, feel free to u
 se what\nyou already have in stock.\n 	Water-Soluble Color Pencils: Profes
 sional grade color pencils are a must! Caran D’ Ache\nSupracolor Soft Aq
 uarelle pencils are highly recommended\, a small set will go a long way.\n
 Water-soluble pencils are used sparingly and mostly for base layers\, so a
  large set is not\nnecessary. Available online at DickBlick.com and in sto
 res.\n 	Stonehedge Drawing Paper - White: The BEST paper for color pencil\
 ; available in pads or\nlarge single sheets at Blick Art Supply. Note: Ext
 ra Stonehedge paper will be supplied for\npracticing in class.\n 	Photo: P
 lease do not choose animals\, or high reflective or glossy objects (glass\
 , porcelain\,\netc.)\; highly recommend a simple subject and composition.\
 n 	Small drawing board.\n 	Any additional drawing supplies you normally us
 e. If you have a desktop Ottlite\, please\nbring it along.\n 	Graphite dra
 wing: Drawing must be very light\, using an ebony pencil is preferred but 
 if you\ntend to draw dark\, use a 2H/4H but be careful not to press hard a
 nd indent the paper.\n 	Pencil sharpeners\, kneaded erasers\, extra drawin
