 0\n\n\nNote\, there are 2 three-day classes:  June 11 - June 13 and July 
 9 - July 11.  Classes each day are held 10:00 am to 2:30 pm.  There will
  be a 30 minute break for lunch.  Students must bring their own snack.\n\
 nDrawing and Painting Workshop: Summer break is here and it is time for th
 e fun to begin! Summer kid art workshops are designed for 8+\, who are in
 terested in taking their art skills to a whole new level. These workshops 
 are more than a summer camp\; they are summer art intensives\, intended f
 or the dedicated art student wishing to learn more about the art they lov
 e\, and to expand their art skills to make art easier and more fun. In th
 e drawing portion of the workshops\, students will learn about the various
  methods for drawing accurately\, and the benefits of each method. Studen
 ts will also learn how to shade for realism\, and to tie objects to the w
 hole composition to feel three-dimensional. The focus is on skill building
  techniques and less on the finished product. In the painting portion of 
 the workshops\, students will be introduced to both watercolor and acryli
 c and learn the proper techniques for using each. Students with previous e
 xperience will receive additional information to tailor lessons to studen
 ts of all skill levels. Students will be offered various subject matters\
 , from animals to common landscapes and scenery that are popular to most s
 tudents.  All supplies used during workshops are readily accessible to s
 tudents and are appropriate for in-home use. Many students fall in love a
 nd want to keep working at home!\n\n\nRefund and Seat Availability\n\n\nTh
 e 3-day workshops have a maximum of 8 seats available\, and the 5-day work
 shops have a maximum of 10 seats available. All workshops have a minimum 
 of 3 students in order to proceed. If any workshop fails to meet the mini
 mum registration requirement\, a different workshop may be selected\, or 
 a full refund will be issued up to 5 days in advance of the registered wor
 kshop. This allows time for the seat to be given to the wait-list (if app
 licable). Any cancellations after this time will result in a 80% refund.
