Member Image Upload for 2020 Calendar

Each member may submit one photograph of his/her favorite piece of work that would look good in a calendar.  This can be any type of artwork that the member creates, including jewelry, woodworking, pottery, painting, drawing, photography, egg art, crochet, fabric art, soaps, candles, etc.  In other words, all types of 2-dimensional or 3-dimensional art.  You do not need to be an exhibitor at the Brannon-Heard House to submit your artwork, but you must be an SAA member in good standing (paid for the year). 

Deadline for Submission

The deadline for submitting your photo is July 15^th, 2019.  They will be on display at the following regular SAA meeting on August 19, 2019.  SAA members will vote for the twelve photos that they think would give the public the best idea of the variety and talent that our SAA artists have to offer.

Choosing the twelve 

When the votes are counted on August 19th, the twelve submissions with the highest vote counts will be included in the calendar for 2020. Each artist selected will also be photographed and his/her photo will be included with a very short bio.  We may ask the artist to allow us to photograph the chosen work, at no cost to the artist, if the original photo submitted does not meet the digital requirements of the publisher.

When published . . . 

The SAA calendars, when published, will be available for sale to members and the public at the Brannon-Heard House.  This will be a great way to get our organization and members recognized in our community; and they will make great gifts!  PLEASE, tell your friends and family about this offer and have them use the ‘Add Me To The 2020 Calendar List’ form on the Exhibits and Events page of our website to let us know they are interested.

Submit Your Photo

Please complete the online submission form below and upload your photo, OR email the photo with the information below to Bunny Salter, bonita@jbsalter.com, OR mail or take those items to the Brannon-Heard House at 111 Pilgrim Mill Road, Cumming, GA 30040 (put them in an envelop with Bunny’s name on it).
