I began painting in the late 1970’s soon after I began my career as an electrical engineer in Minneapolis Minnesota. I thoroughly enjoyed mechanical drafting in high school, back in the day when all work was done with pencil on paper. I painted in acrylics and watercolor sporadically during my 40-year career as a professional engineer. I stopped painting during the 2000’s due to the demands of my engineering work. I started painting in watercolor again after I retired in January of 2014 and have reconnected with drawing and painting work that I have always enjoyed. My favorite subjects include rustic landscapes, buildings and antique machinery. My interest in mechanical drafting has strongly influenced some of my work.
I now live in the greater Atlanta, Georgia area with my wife Angela. I appreciate people viewing my work and I welcome any comments that you might have.
